Proxmox ZFS Remote Replication

For organisations running Proxmox with ZFS storage, we configure native ZFS replication between sites for near-instant failover. ZFS sends incremental snapshots to a remote Proxmox node continuously, keeping your DR site minutes behind production. If the primary site goes down, the standby node can bring VMs online immediately from the replicated ZFS datasets. No backup restore window. No waiting for data to transfer. This is the fastest recovery option available for Proxmox environments and it uses built-in functionality with no additional licensing.
